B. Keith Heard, Senior Partner of the O'Connor & Hannan, LLP.

In 1979 Mr. Heard began his Washington career as Special Assistant to Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS), after serving as District Director in the Senator’s 1978 campaign.
In 1984 he served as Finance and Political Director for Senator Cochran’s successful 1984 re-election effort.
In 1985 Mr. Heard joined the National Cotton Council’s Washington office. He took a leave of absence from the Cotton Council to serve as Southern Political Director for Senator Dole’s Presidential campaign.
Fron 1989 to 1996 he served as Executive Vice President for Public Affairs at the National Corn Growers Association.
Mr. Heard brings to O’Connor & Hannan 25 years of Washington, D.C. leadership experience, where he has served as a senior staff member for a U.S. Senator, run the Washington office for a major trade association, directed national coalition efforts and been directly involved in political campaigns, including being the Southern Political Director for Senator Dole’s Presidential campaign and a team leader for President Bush in the Florida Recount effort in 2000.
